On July 18, 2025, the vibrant energy of “Organic Vibes” ignited the FPT University campus in Thủ Đức, Ho Chi Minh City—and TheorganikCoffee was right at the heart of it all. This one-day celebration of sustainable living, organic agriculture, and mindful consumption drew hundreds of Gen G (Generation Green) attendees eager to connect with the burgeoning organic movement in Vietnam. As one of the featured exhibitors, TheorganikCoffee brought its signature blend of rich, ethically sourced coffee and compelling storytelling to a crowd hungry for green inspiration. Here’s a closer look at how the day unfolded, complete with behind-the-scenes moments, highlights from our booth, and why events like Organic Vibes are so vital for the future of Vietnamese agriculture.
A Lush, Green Backdrop for Change
From the moment guests stepped into the spacious Sảnh Trống Đồng hall at FPT University’s High-Tech Park campus, they were greeted by an oasis of greenery. Tall ferns framed the entrance, while potted herbs—basil, mint, lemongrass—lined the walkways. Overhead, festoon lights and hand-woven bamboo lanterns set a warm, inviting tone. Every exhibitor’s corner, including ours, featured living plants and natural materials, reinforcing the event’s core message: organic isn’t just about what you eat or drink—it’s a mindset, a design philosophy, and a celebration of life in its most natural form.
Organic Vibes’ organizers, VOAA (Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association), spared no effort in creating an immersive environment. Their collaboration with FPT University turned the lobby into a mini-rainforest, complete with soundscapes of chirping birds and trickling water features. This ambient backdrop provided the perfect counterpoint to the bustling booths, chatty crowds, and high-energy performances that punctuated the day.
TheorganikCoffee’s Booth: More Than Just a Coffee Stand
We knew we had stiff competition—over 30 vendors showcasing everything from organic tofu wraps to solar-powered gadgets. But we also knew that coffee lovers are discerning, and Gen G in particular craves authenticity. So we designed our booth to engage all five senses:
-
Sight: We draped the front table in natural jute cloth embroidered with our logo, framed by hand-plucked coffee branch cuttings and burlap sacks filled with green coffee beans. A digital slideshow on a tablet displayed scenes from our partner farms in Đắk Lắk, highlighting both traditional cultivation methods and our ongoing transition to USDA and EU organic certification.
-
Smell: Nothing draws people in faster than the scent of freshly roasted beans. Throughout the day we roasted small batches on-site using a tabletop drum roaster, wafting waves of caramelized aroma into the air and enchanting passersby.
-
Taste: Samples of our three signature blends—Highland Arabica, Moka Honey Process, and Dark Roast Robusta—were served in compostable cups. We also offered iced lattes made with organic soy milk and a hint of Vietnamese cinnamon, giving a nod to local flavor traditions.
-
Touch: To connect visitors to the raw materials, we encouraged them to handle samples of green and roasted beans. Some even tried their hand at basic cupping (coffee tasting) techniques, guided by our barista trainers.
-
Hearing: To round out the experience, we played a curated playlist of acoustic Vietnamese folk and contemporary instrumental tracks—quiet enough not to overpower conversation, yet lively enough to reinforce the upbeat atmosphere.
By engaging each sense, we fostered deeper conversations about the journey from bean to cup: the farmers who nurture the plants, the small-batch roasters who coax out nuanced flavors, and the conscious consumers who appreciate meaning alongside their morning brew.
Meet “Ong Thị Nâu” — Our Beloved Mascot
One Organic Vibes star stood out among the sea of green: Ong Thị Nâu, our friendly coffee-bee mascot. Dressed in a soft brown bee costume complete with a smiling face and jaunty antennae, Ong Thị Nâu flitted from booth to booth, inviting photo ops and handing out stickers. Her boundless energy and playful antics captivated kids and adults alike—proof that even coffee brands can harness the power of a cute character to spark engagement.
Throughout the day, we saw long lines of Gen G followers waiting their turn to snap a selfie with Ong Thị Nâu against our custom photo-wall, which featured illustrations of coffee blossoms and buzzing bees. To reward their patience, we gifted each visitor a mini sachet of our single-origin drip coffee, emblazoned with Ong Thị Nâu’s cheerful grin.
Check-In, Snap, and Win!
No modern event is complete without a social-media activation, and Organic Vibes delivered on that front too. The organizers set up a dedicated “Green Check-In” station, where attendees could scan a QR code, “check in” to the festival on Facebook or Instagram, and instantly receive a digital coupon for a free organic smoothie or plant-based snack. Over 500+ prizes—ranging from reusable tote bags and bamboo cutlery sets to jars of local wildflower honey—were up for grabs.
At TheorganikCoffee booth, we added our own mini-contest: visitors who posted a photo of their coffee sample with the hashtag #OrganicVibes2025 and #TheorganikCoffee were entered into a raffle to win a month’s supply of our freshly roasted beans. By event’s end, we had collected over 200 tagged posts, extending our reach well beyond the physical venue and into the digital feeds of coffee enthusiasts nationwide.
Beyond the Booth: Knowledge-Sharing and Networking
While sampling and selfies stole the spotlight, Organic Vibes also featured a series of micro-workshops and panel discussions on topics like soil health, plastic-free packaging, and alternative proteins. TheorganikCoffee co-founder, Ms. Ngô Bích Quyên, was invited to moderate a 30-minute talk on “Building Transparent Supply Chains in Coffee,” where she shared insights on traceability, fair trade practices, and the importance of third-party organic audits.
Highlights from her session included:
-
Traceability Stories
-
How satellite mapping and farmer diaries help track each bean from seed to shipment.
-
The role of blockchain pilots in certifying organic status.
-
-
Fair Compensation
-
Profit-sharing models that ensure farmers earn at least 30% more than market rates.
-
Cooperative-led value addition (e.g., on-farm drying stations).
-
-
Quality and Compliance
-
The rigorous standards of USDA and EU organic frameworks.
-
Preparing for unannounced audits—like the one Control Union carried out in 2024—and turning them into improvement opportunities.
-
The session drew a standing-room-only crowd, and led to numerous follow-up conversations. By giving Gen G not just a product but an education, TheorganikCoffee strengthened its position as a thought leader in Vietnam’s burgeoning organic sector.
Championing a New Consumption Ethos
Organic Vibes wasn’t merely a showcase of products; it was a call to action. Across panels and pop-up stalls, the recurring message was clear: sustainable living demands more than occasional purchases of eco-friendly goods—it requires a fundamental shift in daily habits. Plastic reduction, seasonal eating, and local sourcing were championed as everyday practices that, when scaled across millions of consumers, can yield transformative environmental benefits.
At our booth, we encouraged visitors to pledge one simple habit change—whether it was carrying their own mug, composting coffee grounds, or choosing paper over plastic—and to share their promise on our pledge wall. By day’s end, the wall was covered in handwritten notes: “I will bring my reusable cup,” “I will buy local produce,” “I will support fair-trade coffee.” These small commitments created a powerful visual testament to the collective will for change.
The Ripple Effect: What Comes Next?
As the sun set on Organic Vibes 2025, the buzz of excitement lingered. Attendees left not only with free samples and goodie-bag swag but with new knowledge, fresh connections, and a renewed sense of purpose. For TheorganikCoffee, the event was more than a marketing opportunity—it was a chance to cement relationships with farmers, distributors, and consumers who share our vision of a cleaner, greener future.
