From the success of the second “Honoring Vietnamese Coffee – Tea” Festival in 2024, the organizers hope that the business community, management units, and media agencies will join hands to steadily bring Vietnamese agricultural products to the global market.
On the evening of March 31, the second “Honoring Vietnamese Coffee – Tea” Festival in 2024, organized by the Labor Newspaper, concluded after two lively days at the Gigamall Trade Center (Thu Duc City, HCM City). Attending the closing ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoi, Deputy Director of the HCM City Department of Information and Communications; Mr. Pham Minh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the HCM City Fatherland Front Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai, Head of the Press and Publishing Department of the Propaganda Department of the HCM City Party Committee.
In his concluding remarks, journalist Duong Quang, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Labor Newspaper and Head of the Organizing Committee for the second “Honoring Vietnamese Coffee – Tea” Festival, stated that through a series of activities, the Organizing Committee has strived to convey a message to consumers, the public, and the media: Coffee helps us achieve wisdom in creativity and precision in action, bringing faith and aspiration, turning the impossible or not yet possible into possible.
According to the Head of the Organizing Committee, besides the increasing material value in the domestic and international markets, the “soft power” of Vietnamese agricultural products is also affirmed and elevated through this festival. Coffee is no longer just an ordinary beverage but has become a culture and an art. Coffee culture and the philosophy of coffee are becoming more defined in economic and social life; tea, on the other hand, has been an integral part of Vietnamese culture and customs from ancient times to the present.
Over the course of two days filled with lively, useful, and attractive activities rich in Vietnamese flavor, the program brought the public a true festive atmosphere. Through the festival, the connection between government agencies, businesses, and consumers has become more apparent and solid, with the hope that these entities will join forces to bring Vietnamese agricultural products to the global market steadily. “This year’s festival concludes, opening up new creative ideas for the next journey,” noted journalist Duong Quang
